Xiaomi-backed Segway-Ninebot has unveiled a new range of N Series electric scooters, including the NineBot N70C, N90 and N100 models.

The new series of scooters are equipped with intelligent RileyGo 2.0 technology. They have received several sensors that are responsible for automatically unlocking the scooter and determining its location using a mobile phone app.

Compared to the Ninebot A30C, the Ninebot N series electric scooters are larger in size. They have significantly more storage space and a longer range, and are equipped with True Intelligence 2.0 technology. In addition, the Ninebot N features more powerful motors and two of the three models also have larger batteries.

The $460 Ninebot N70C has a lead-acid battery and proprietary battery management system. The scooter has a range of 70 km. It uses a direct-drive motor with a maximum output of 1,500 watts.

The Ninebot N70C has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes as well as the EABS energy recovery system. The front and rear wheels are fitted with shock absorbers. The scooter is equipped with light-sensitive matrix LED headlamps.

The Ninebot N90’s engine output has been increased to 1800W and it has a range of 85km. It uses a lighter ATL lithium battery. It has the same design as the N70C, but costs $990.
